“Songs like the cut-up Dawn Crusade and the interestingly titled Nenglich Phlarloosely keep the freak flag flying” – Subba Culture
“A weird mix of folk, Beefheart and Zappa style avant-nuttiness” – Mark Rowland Penny Black Music
“It’s dark, carnivale and a very special record” – Skif, Vanity Project Review

P.A.I.N – OH MY GOD…Review
July 22, 2007
P.A.I.N -’OH MY GOD! WE’RE DOING IT’ CD Buy it here

This is a re-release of P.A.I.N.’S (Propaganda and Information Network) debut record from a decade ago. Through raw dub, reggae and punk rock P.A.I.N. challenge inconsistent politics and attack and question through intelligent and bright lyrics:
“So many thousands across the country with nowhere to go at night, so they take over empty derelict houses to call their own and try to put right, can’t you see that squatting is not a moral wrong it’s a cry for help from those in need, anxious for a roof over their head when the council are deaf to their pleas”.

Musoplex Birmingham plug in to Kerrang TV & Radio
July 19, 2007
You may be wondering what ever happened to Framework Studios. Well, Framework has moved and mutated. It is now part of Musoplex and is bigger, better equipped and ready to cause chaos. Andy and Si who run the place asked me to pass this information on to you.
Opened in May 2007, Musoplex is an exciting new West Midlands-based venture created by specialists from several music and multimedia backgrounds and placed handily just minutes from Junction 2 of the M5.
The team is:
Si Reeves – record producer and engineer (from Napalm Death to PJ Harvey)
Pete Rhead – videographer (now supplying video work to Kerrang!)
David Rann – photographer and photography teacher
Dale Perry – promoter and co-founder of the Acoustic Society
Andy Ward – live engineering and recording
Kitted out over 2,500 square feet, Musoplex offers a professional music and multimedia playground, with facilities for record label/independent recording, video-making and photography, as well as rehearsal rooms, green screen and space for PAs/promotion, teaching and schools liaison.
A.O.S.3 on Tour 2007 and at ramming Speed
July 18, 2007
Here’s a few words from John AOS3 I’m passing on:
“ok, hi there, AOS3 in effect, and now blooded with the claret of a first gig. It is great to be playing the songs again, and lovely that some folk remember and still like the stuff we play. Thanx from the bottom of our heart to everyone who made the trip up or down to Birmingham….we have plans now to tour with Citizen Fish in July around the UK, a small festival near Bath in August…And a plot to tour about Europe (actually probably just Belgium and Holland!) in late October….and maybe pop over to Ireland early next year….if you would like to see us near you, get in touch! Many thanks to Frank and Xena, and also to Fleece and Sandra for all their support.
Here are the Fish tour dates…we don’t play at them all, and play Eastern Haze Festival on Saturday 21st WITHOUT Citizen Fish. Confused?? Then all is as it should be!!
FNORD!”
