In addition to being a Record Label, Iron Man Records is dedicated to helping support many other bands, musicians, blogs, soundsystems and others trying to create an alternative. It is an endless task to keep an eye on everything that is going on and to try and pick out interesting things to share. If you would like to get involved or get news and information onto this site worth sharing there are ways to do it.
1. You can email your information.
Send no more than 250 words (text plus any links) and any photos or flyers or pictures (jpeg) with your contact details and a link to your own site or relevant page. Be aware that anything you send in may be reproduced on the website in an unedited form. So check your spelling.
2. Get your Gig Listed – email us your information and i’ll post it to the site. Please include as many of the following details as possible:
* Event Title
* Event description
* Event Date(s) and Time(s)
* Website link to event information
* Website link to book tickets
* An event image (flyer,poster,photo,logo – jpegs)
* Any other external links (such as a performers website)
If you are supplying listings, try and provide all the Event information at least by the month before so your paying punters get a chance to plan a night out!
3. Work Experience – The record label is currently seeking people interested in helping contribute to the website and a number of online platforms. If you are interested in being a guest blogger, writing reviews, linking to other blog posts, finding and posting links or helping out on a voluntary basis get in touch. There’s no money to pay anyone for anything at the moment but if you are a student or are looking to gain some experience that may be helpful getting a job at a later date you are welcome to get in touch.
