John Murry – The Stars are God’s Bullet Holes – Tour Dates 18th-28th November 2021

“We talk in black and white, ones and zeros and satellites, and one day we just might replace our very souls.” John Murry’s third album, ‘The Stars Are God’s Bullet Holes’ was produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, Eels, Aldous Harding, This Is the Kit) at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth. Total Assault On The Culture – November 2021

“There swims behind it all a mass of tremendous life” — Moby Dick an 1851 novel by American writer Herman Melville This month has been multi-drop van delivery driving all the way in an attempt to turn mileage into music. A few days ago, I found myself loading bathroom supplies into a hire van at the back of a warehouse in pouring rain, whilst discussing abstract mathematics and the life and works of Robert Anton Wilson by phone as confused warehouse staff looked on wondering who on earth I was talking to? John Murry – The Stars are God’s Bullet Holes – UK Tour Dates November 2021

John Murry was adopted at birth into the family of William Faulkner. Some have speculated that the Faulkner blood might also run in his veins, but that should be left for a Southern Gothic novel yet to be written (or perhaps re-written). Raised in Tupelo, Mississippi, in the shadow of Elvis, his undiagnosed autism led to troubles at an early age that led to prescribed medication, which led to un-prescribed medication, which led to being institutionalised for addiction and mental health issues at a too young age. Eventually, discarded onto the streets of Memphis, he found music, which became the one constant positive force in his life. Memphis led to San…
