Iron Man Records provides a cultural outpost for Musicians, Writers, Performers and Travellers in the arts with a large purpose built Music Rehearsal Space and Recording Studio. The Record label seeks to encourage residents and travellers in the arts to gather, record and present their cultural insights and experiences.
Located outside the Clean Air Zone, in Hockley, Birmingham, the rehearsal space and recording studio offers an Embassy for the Imagine Nation committed to inspiring and promoting Independent creativity. The Music Rehearsal space operates by way of a shared online diary with 24hr access.

The work that the record label does to help musicians and artists costs time and money and in the current financial situation, the record label is struggling just like everyone else. Musicians regularly ask for help and only a few will ever get the help they need as finances are tight and time is limited.

According to the Muscians Union, 90% of registered Musicians earn less than £1000 a month. 80% of registered musicians earn nothing at all from their Music. 1% of Musicians earn 75% of all global revenue from music and 78% of all subscription revenue. YouTube generates more money from advertising in one year than the entire global music industry added together. Many Musicians starve, struggle and kill themselves. In my own band, three members of the group in the last 15 years have taken their own life, not to mention the others I have worked with or known. Musicians need all our help and they need it now.

Just this afternoon, I had to turn down a local musician who wanted to request help and support to record their work as I do not have sufficient resources to help or assist them in addition to existing financial commitments.
Iron Man Records relies on your support, and works hard to earn and keep your trust through the care taken in spending funds on production, manufacture, distribution, marketing, and promotion of new music on Vinyl.
Record releases and the campaigns that accompany them cost money and we won’t accept donations from governments, companies, local councils, Arts Funding Organisations, Academic Institutions, Banks, Advertisers or any other interested commercial groups.
Without support from people like you our work would stop. Individual contributions from Patrons and the money generated through music Tour Management keeps the record label going against the odds. Any sales of music produced and distributed through the label contributes to the initial production costs and will eventually find its way back to the artists themselves.
