Are you an independent artist with your own Bandcamp page and at least one self-released album or EP? If so, Iron Man Records would like to invite you to become part of a growing network of artists. This is a no-strings-attached opportunity for hard working bands, solo performers, poets, and buskers, especially those affected by the Birmingham City Council Busking Ban — and anyone else based in Birmingham, or nearby, who feels their music could benefit from being associated with Iron Man Records.
There’s no contract, no financial commitment, and complete freedom to come and go as you please. All you need to be is good at what you do — in your own way.
What’s on Offer?
Iron Man Records pays for a Bandcamp Pro subscription every month. That means every artist under the Iron Man Records umbrella gets access to Bandcamp Pro features for free. These include advanced tools and insights to boost sales and grow your audience including:
Enhanced Bandcamp page customization
Advanced analytics
Private streaming options
And more tools to help you grow your audience
You’ll also gain access to the Iron Man Records extended network across Bandcamp and Social Media and basic advice and guidance should you need it — all while remaining fully independent, free to do what you want.
In recent times Iron Man Records has adopted a number of Artists including, but not limited to: Cain, Kara, Sheema Mukherjee, TUUP, Stephen Hodd, Steve Williams, and María Adriana.
Why Now?
Almost every day, Iron Man Records receives emails from artists looking for help and support. While the Record Label would love to help everyone, the reality is that the label doesn’t currently have the financial means to take on every artist in a traditional way.
So here’s the idea: Iron Man Records would like to share what it already has — Bandcamp Pro — with a wider community of artists, without the need for contracts, money and complication.
If you’re doing it all yourself and feel like a little extra support could go a long way, this might be for you.
