John Murry – UK and European Shows 2024 and The Stars are God’s Bullet Holes

“We talk in black and white, ones and zeros and satellites, and one day we just might, replace our very souls.” John Murry's lyrics, often drawing from personal experiences, create a profound and emotionally resonant connection with his audience. His ability to convey raw and authentic emotions through his music has garnered critical acclaim, with his debut solo record, "The Graceless Age," being recognized by various reputable sources such as Uncut, Mojo, The Guardian, and American Songwriter. “The longer you spend in the darkness with him, the more beauty you’ll see.” – Country Music Magazine John's connection to the Nobel Prize-winning American novelist William Faulkner adds a layer of literary and…

Morus – European Tour Dates 15th – 30th September 2023

MORUS – CIALO OBCE: “I’ve long had a love affair with Polish hardcore and punk and singular in that obsession has long been Post Regiment—so you can imagine how excited I was to discover that two members had formed a new band called Morus. Fundamentally, this retains the same level of intensity and dynamism while being slightly angular yet melodic as their prior efforts and is well worth your listen. To me, there has long been something unique and slightly magical in the hardcore punk that came out behind the Iron Curtain and it is good to see the veterans of that era continue to produce infectious and vital music.” No…

Sheema Mukherjee – Sheema (Vinyl) with USB stick

"Classically trained but a fusioneer by nature, sitarist Sheema Mukherjee has played with trance troupe Transglobal Underground and folk radicals the Imagined Village among others. This solo debut (vinyl/MP4 only)  draws from her palette with panache. Slash Sitar is a showboating rock  thrash (air sitar, anyone?); Sikkim Girls comes drenched in Bollywood  strings; Morning Celeste is a dreamy neoclassical raga; and the driving  Little Dragon sounds as though John Lee Hooker had mastered the sitar.  More unexpected are sweetly sung covers of Radiohead and Françoise Hardy  and playful evocations of 60s pop (Mrs Moo) and sodden samosas on an  English beach (Bit God). A charming, altogether singular creation." - Neil Spencer…

John Murry – The Stars are God’s Bullet Holes – UK Tour Dates November 2021

John Murry was adopted at birth into the family of William Faulkner. Some have speculated that the Faulkner blood might also run in his veins, but that should be left for a Southern Gothic novel yet to be written (or perhaps re-written). Raised in Tupelo, Mississippi, in the shadow of Elvis, his undiagnosed autism led to troubles at an early age that led to prescribed medication, which led to un-prescribed medication, which led to being institutionalised for addiction and mental health issues at a too young age. Eventually, discarded onto the streets of Memphis, he found music, which became the one constant positive force in his life. Memphis led to San…
