Iron Man Records seeks to provide a cultural outpost for musicians, writers and travellers in the arts. An Embassy for the Imagine Nation committed to inspiring and promoting Independent creativity. The Record label seeks to encourage residents and travellers in the arts to gather, record and present their cultural insights and experiences.
Iron Man Records relies on your support, and in turn works hard to earn and keep your trust through the care taken in spending funds on production, manufacture, distribution, marketing, and promotion of new music on Vinyl.
Record releases and the campaigns that accompany them cost money and we won’t accept donations from governments, companies, local councils, Arts Funding Organisations, Academic Institutions, Banks, Advertisers or any other interested commercial groups.
Without support from people like you our work would stop. Individual contributions from Patrons and the money generated through music Tour Management keeps the record label going against the odds. Any sales of music produced and distributed through the label contributes to the initial production costs and will eventually find its way back to the artists themselves. Let me be clear, not one release on the label to date has recovered the full cost of production, but there’s always hope that one day they will. In order to continue, Iron Man Records needs your support.
People-power is what exerts pressure on popular culture. We ask people to add their voices, actions and money to Iron Man Records and to help us to help the artists and musicians we work with. Your support means everything to the artists and creatives we support, and to all those involved in the running of the record label.
“The support of Patrons means a lot to Iron Man Records, and to me personally. It’s nearly 23 years since I founded Iron Man Records in Birmingham, and I’m still humbled by the generosity, commitment and enthusiasm of those who share a hope for an alternative.”
We couldn’t do our work without you, so we always treat you – and your support – with respect and appreciation.

Whoever controls the internet servers, controls the intellectual record of humankind. And by controlling the intellectual record of humankind, you control our perceptions of who we are. When all music is digital, all independence will cease. Iron Man Records would like to release all new records on Vinyl. You are invited to become a Patron.
Iron Man Records is an independent record label, that began in 1996. To release Vinyl at an affordable price, and maintain it’s independence, Iron Man Records needs your help.
The Label has created more than 34 record releases, some on Vinyl and CD, some purely digital. Everything that the label creates is produced with care and attention to the highest standards. Iron Man Records is a complex manifestation of risk taking, insanity, and making independent music against impossible odds. Iron Man Records works hard to give music a value.
Please consider giving your support by becoming a Patron. It costs less than £1 a month and your support can help make things happen faster.
